What we are building next
Everything on this page is either in development or planned. We have marked each item so nothing here reads as something we have already delivered. For what is running today, see impact and results.
More regions, faster
Ongoing. We can open in a new country in under six weeks because the system was built to be lifted rather than rebuilt. The goal is not one more flag on a map. It is to make opening a new region a reliable, repeatable thing we do routinely.
We are genuinely open to suggestions. If you know a community that needs this, tell us at info@dogoapp.org. That is a real route in, not a brush off.
An advertising funded way to give
In development. We are building a model where a person voluntarily watches an advertisement from a values-aligned business, and that view triggers a donation to a cause, with DOGO as the transparent infrastructure underneath.
The reason we find this interesting: the barrier for most people is not that they do not care, it is that they will not set up a monthly payment. Fifteen seconds of attention is a much lower bar than a direct debit. If a large number of people each gave a few seconds a week, the totals involved would be substantial.
A public health data layer
Planned. Our stands see presenting conditions across whole communities, in places where health data is otherwise thin. A sudden rise in cholera cases at a stand is a meaningful signal about local water and sanitation. Used carefully, and without compromising the privacy commitments on this site, that aggregate picture could inform local investment.
A VR experience in London
Planned, not yet delivered. The idea is a pop-up DOGO stand in central London that lets someone step through a patient's journey in virtual reality: the stand, the ID, the clinic, the bill, the match.
The reasoning is straightforward. The distance between a London donor and a clinic in Taraba State is the single biggest obstacle to people understanding what three pounds does. A page of text closes some of that distance. Standing inside it would close more.
Predictive routing
Planned. Routing patients to the most appropriate partner facility based on their presenting symptoms and historic outcomes at each clinic, rather than proximity alone.
Why we publish a roadmap at all
Because a charity that only publishes finished things is easy to misread. These are the directions we are pushing in. If we deliver them, they will move to the pages that describe what we do. If we abandon one, we will take it off this page rather than quietly leave it here.
Give someone a treatment
Set up a £5 monthly donation and we will show you exactly who it treated. In Nigeria, £5 covers one person's entire treatment, usually with change.
Three ways to give, all working right now:
- Donate on WhatsApp. The quickest route. Message us and we will set it up inside the chat. No app to install, no forms, no password.
- Dogo Health on the App Store, or on Google Play. Set your amount once and you are matched with a new person automatically each month.
Monthly from £5, one-off from £10. Cancel any time from the app. Questions first? Write to info@dogoapp.org.
